host of the Grassroots Truthcast. Thank you, Gan, for joining us. I want to get your thoughts on that marathon session last night in the Senate.

Well, it’s more of the same that I wish was changed in our system. If I could have it perfectly my way, Carrie, I’d

love to have a constitutional amendment that denies every senator and congressman from a paycheck unless the

budget was balanced uh constitutionally mandated annually. these reconciliations

and add-ons and holding a gun to your opponent’s head figuratively to secure

some sort of guarantee on something else. And okay, I’ll vote for you on this one is what we pushed through till 3:00 a.m. last night. Ridiculous.

We needed this resolved and in place a long time ago. Why are we arguing in a

at 3:00 a.m. about a uh condition uh where the United States of America has

elected a president uh a a strong mandate to remove illegal aliens from

this country. It’s off base. It’s out of line. and you’re which you’re watching a

Chuck Schumer uh uh deflection and distraction uh to keep your eyes off the fact that

they’re trying to minimize the Republicans’s ability to um accommodate President Trump’s uh goals.

Yeah, it seems like with each passing Congress, things get more um divided and less civil like the days long ago where,

you know, there was horse trading and what have you, but the the the goal was the same in in providing for the American people. I I want to ask though

in that spirit, did the Democrats score any points with these amendment strategies that they tried last night that they think will help them in the

midterms from a soundbite perspective or otherwise?

Well, yeah, a little bit. They’re trying to suggest to the public that they’re able to impose

uh limits on ICE as to how far ICE might go. Um, but you know, this is a push

that does nothing but energize the Republicans to realize this these antics need to go away. Chuck Schumer’s been

around over 40 years. This pattern of bad behavior didn’t happen on just this

news story. This pattern of bad behavior has existed at least for decades. Uh term limits, another constitutional

amendment would be uh needed to eliminate this kind of bad behavior amongst the top dozen characters on both parties.

Yeah, an interesting proposal that you have there. Now, there is still let’s let’s focus on the Republicans for a moment. There’s still a split on the strategy with the Republicans in terms

of should they go skinny with the reconciliation and really just fund DHS or should they go for the moon and try to get their legislative dream package.

What do you think will happen?

Well, by going skinny and diverting the issue, splitting out the issues, Carrie,

it causes them to try to secure some leverage in the negotiation of the bill itself. It also shows the public, oh,

I’m very concerned about the Republicans, what the Republicans are doing. There’s no magic in this uh in

this bill. They’re just we’re just trying to get uh these illegal aliens

out of this country that are hurting people. Uh you know, it’s obscene the

amount of uh sec. We’re protecting the illegal alien. And this is the antithesis of what Iran is doing.

Shooting 40,000 people in the street um uh without rhyme or reason. We’re we’re

our defense of the rights of the uh minority uh have gone too far. They’re using it as a guise, as a disguise in

effect to um allow them to perpetuate their power and control over Congress.

All these issues are tied to one thing,

maintaining power and control in Congress. Uh this is the Democrats shortcoming, Carrie. Not so I don’t see

I don’t see it as much on the Republican side, although there are some shortcomings there. I I do see people worrying more about policies,

principles, and what they were hired to get into office to do in the first place.
