Welcome in panel. Great to see you both.

Thanks for having me.

Uh, so obviously these images of Bergam

and Deli, a vote of confidence for Deli,

and you know, we saw the ouster and a

lot of naysayers saying, “Oh, this is

going to be so much instability.” Um,

Doug Bergam’s also working on a gold

deal. I’ll start with you, Jenny Beth.

You know, the economics of this very

important because it’s also a

stabilizing factors. Markets don’t like

instability. President Trump has been

saying hold on and so has Treasury

Secretary Scott Bessant.

Yeah, I think that it you’re right. The

markets don’t like the instability and

there’s going to be fluctuation and I

don’t think that should surprise anyone.

What I think is important to remember is

that one of the things President Trump

has been working on for the last year

and a half is making sure that we are

focused on drilling more in America,

that we have pipelines in America, and

that America is getting back to energy

independence. So if he had taken this

action in Iran right after he came into

office, we wouldn’t have some of that

that same the same energy here in

America available the way that he has

helped over the last year and a half.

Okay? Plus we have what has happened

with Venezuela

and now oil is flowing from Venezuela.

So that is going to help make up for it.

And finally, President Trump has said

that he’s going to protect the ships uh

in Iran to make sure that they’re still

able to move oil in and out and around

that region. And I think all of that is

extremely important in helping stabilize

gas prices as we get through this very

defined mission in Iran right now.

It could be weeks, could be four weeks.

Uh Jean, I’m bringing you in here.

President Trump, you know, obviously

when it comes to energy, he wants drill,

baby drill. He’s got Chris Wright. He’s

got Doug Bergam. The people that are in

the White House are adults in the room.

Uh they’re getting rid of the EV

mandates. They’re getting rid of all the

restrictions here. So again, while this

isn’t a time for markets to be a little

bit rattled, what do you make of Susie

Wild saying, “Hey, let’s get some ideas

going on.” Because, you know, the

message has to be delivered to the

American people. So important as well.

Yeah. Controlling Wall Street should

never be government’s role, but helping

to facilitate free trade, free supply.

There’s a role for for government to do

that. Susie Wilds is correct about

trying to stimulate things on that side

of the paradigm. The the real concern is

when government steps too far and tries

to establish mandates like they did with

vaccines. uh in this case just creating

pathways or corridors for free markets

and open trade where supply and demand

factors kick in to justify price. So the

barrel the price per barrel getting up

over $80 a barrel. Not surprised.

Earlier reports indicated $100 a barrel.

Not surprised if we see that as well.

But um it will be the free market that

responds to the level of supply uh based

on the level of demand to determine

where those prices come back down. It’s

not necessarily government’s role to

stick a price out there. If they want to

try to talk in general terms about

bringing it back down under $2 a gallon,

that’s fine. But mandating that the

delivery folks of gasoline go to $2 a

gallon is inappropriate and goes it’s it

it’s cross purposes with free market and

fair trade.

Le let’s talk about this vote now that’s

about to happen in Kilman’s there on the

hill. So you’ve got war powers. They

want to restrict President Trump in the

middle of a conflict where it does seem

to be um hour by hour more and more uh

destructible for Iran. Uh you have a lot

of the left trying to say that there was

no strategy and also some like AOC

saying that President Trump is trying to

distract from the Epstein scandal. I

mean as outrageous as it is, she goes on

and says he impulsively went in on

Venezuela, impulsively went in on Iran,

and every time he’s done that, it has

been inconsistent with a spike or

revelation of what is happening with the

Epstein files and says Trump should be

removed from office. I mean, AOC just

joining up the base here, but what about

all the women uh in Iran, Jenny Beth,

who are now just celebrating the chance

of being free and not having to cover

their hair. I mean, again, AOC here not

really able to grasp that we’re not on

the side of terrorists still.

Yeah, it it she’s looking for any reason

that she can any reason she can find to

try to impeach President Trump and she

hopes that Democrats will win in the

fall so they can impeach President Trump

again. It’s why we absolutely must not

let that happen. But the bigger point

here is President Trump did not act

impulsively. He did not act impulsively

in Venezuela or in Iran. We can look at

how targeted what happened in Venezuela

was. H how the entire um mission was

executed with such precision. That does

not indicate impulsiveness. That

indicates forthought and and very

deliberate execution. The same thing is

happening in Iran. President Trump has

laid out clearly defined objectives. He

wants to destroy Iran’s missile

capability, destroy their navy, make

sure they never have a nuclear weapon,

and stop their payments to terrorist

organizations around the world. Those

are very clear objectives. All of them

affect America and national security.

And she’s just completely wrong when she

says it’s impulsive and there is no

strategy. and the people who are voting

right now in the House with the War

Powers Act. President Trump acted within

within his powers within the way the law

is described. We can debate the

constitutionality of it, but he acted

within the the way the law was defined.

Yeah. And I want to bring in one more

thread here and then Jean, you can give

us your final thoughts. I mean, it’s

amazing how, you know, this will go. I

mean, Iran obviously with its bluster,

not getting any support, has no allies,

has no friends. Um, the foreign minister

Abbas Aragoti saying that the country is

ready for a ground invasion by American

troops. So, here we go. Uh, flexing a

little bit hard there as they know the

walls are closing in.

Well, there’ll be a ground invasion of

of sorts, but it’ll be from the Kurds,

not from America. And that too is the uh

acumen and keen thought pattern of

Donald Trump, his desire to uh to stay

out of it, which is what uh many of the

folks in Congress want. Uh but on on

AOC, that’s the antithesis of a keen

acumen. Uh she’s dealing solely AOC that

is is dealing with suspicion, a

microphone, and zero evidence. The

opposite’s true with Donald Trump.

Yeah. Um, also let’s get in this.

California Governor Gavin Newsome, uh,

again talking about President Trump. We

blurred it. You can see what the sword

is, though. Uh, he also echoed this

during a recent interview. I mean, this

guy is trying to run in 2028 on, you

know, obviously failed California.

Doesn’t matter if you’re running in a

uniarty state, Jenny Beth. But how do

you think he’s going to fare as he

continues on with these attacks on

President Trump? And at some point

he’s going to be called to answer for

what he’s done in California or what he

lack thereof has done.

Yeah. I think that when it comes time to

voting in for for the nominee and then

for the president in 2028, we can look

at his failed state of California, all

the problems that that have have

happened in California, including a rise

of homelessness, the problems not taking

care of the the victims of the

wildfires, uh the the lack of parental

rights, the list can go on and on and

on. and then we’ll be able to compare it

to President Trump’s very successful

record during his second term. And if

you want a failed track record like

California or you want a wonderful

thriving country like what President

Trump will be handing to the next

president, I think that the contrast

will be very clear and putting out posts

like that on social media. Maybe it

makes him feel better, but I don’t think

it’s actually going to help him in the

long run, especially in November of

2028.
