Bianca de la Garza: So the story continues to develop. We have these threats against the cabinet picks. Um, and now there’s another one bubbling up that a Democrat in Connecticut, Jim Himes, uh, had a bomb threat at his house.

You know, I’ll start with you, John. President Biden had an opportunity to come out this morning in Nantucket and maybe make more of a forceful comment about this to at least be a deterrent. [00:02:00]

John Jordan: And he didn’t. Um, he was at a very lavish a swanky going away party. Um, I think it was last night. Yesterday, um, he’s kind of ducked out of sight.

The president should be out in front of this. The American people deserve to know, is this just a bunch of crackpots, you know, making threats randomly at the same time, or is this a coordinated systematic threat on the incoming administration? Americans need to know that Congress needs to look into it.

And the admin is current administration needs to be forthright about it.

Bianca de la Garza: No, he says he wants a peaceful transition, uh, but then he goes off to his billionaire friend’s house. And we know Hunter’s there as well, Jean. So, uh, this is all happening as there is elevated concerns for Donald Trump as well, who’s now faced not one, but two assassination attempts.

Gene Valentino: Absolutely. And, uh, oh, by the way, did we ever hear about any of this threat against the Biden administration incoming when he was to take office? I don’t think so. Oh, they talked about an insurrection, which proved so fallacious, but there was [00:03:00] never any of this going on. Uh, I, I tell you what it does from my point of view, it launches more, um, energy, uh, the cabinet and his heads of agencies and departments are going to be turbocharged.

To do what President Trump has asked them to do at light speed, and I think we Americans are going to see stuff done not in four years, but in four months.

Bianca de la Garza: All right, well, Zuckerberg wanted something because he asked to be invited to Mar a Lago and Donald Trump and him had dinner. It’s interesting because we know, John, that Trump and Elon are now very, very close.

Zuckerberg or Zuckerbox, what do you think he wanted from this? Because there’s, you know, obviously a lot of things that will be coming up, maybe an interview. AI position in this next administration.

John Jordan: He’s trying to protect himself. Keep in mind, there are enormous antitrust problems with Google as well.

And Google, you know, when it was fashionable to go after Trump in Silicon Valley, Hollywood and elsewhere here [00:04:00] in California, Zuckerberg was right in the middle of it, as you point out was Zuck box and censorship and. Taking away his Facebook privileges. So I think now he realized we’ve got a Republican Congress.

You’ve got a Republican Senate. You got an increasingly conservative judiciary and an American public is completely out of step with where Zuckerberg was. And so I think this is almost a, an existential issue for him because he’s been on the wrong side of history so badly for the last four years.

Bianca de la Garza: Well, Donald Trump has a Thanksgiving message.

We’ll put it up. He says, Happy Thanksgiving to all including the radical left lunatics who worked so hard to destroy our country. He goes on to end with the great people of our nation just gave a landslide victory to those who want to make America great again. I’ll just play this little clip. Joy Reed is really probably one of the most miserable people this Thanksgiving.

Joy Reid: And the rest of us, among the 73 million Americans who voted not to have fascism, autocracy, mass deportation, internment camps, [00:05:00] and economy crushing tariffs are the bad guys, the segregationists of our time. If we, hold on, let me check my notes, ah yes, don’t want to have turkey dinner with the people screaming, your body, my choice.

Gene Valentino: If she is so correct, why is MSDNC in a deep dive and its corporate executives trying to spin it off as a losing organization? Uh, why is Rachel Maddow taking a five million dollar cut in pay? Why is, uh, Joe Scarborough and Mika making their way to, uh, Mar a Lago along with, uh, conversations from, uh, Mexican President Scheinbaum and, as you mentioned, Mark Zuckerberg, all trying to play nice, nice.

I don’t see Donald Trump getting vicious, revengeful. I see him, um, holding out on this precious day called Thanksgiving. Uh, the olive branch trying to make amends with this [00:06:00] crazy thinking. Joy Reeves off the charge. She’s she’s hurting not only her network, but now people see her for what she really is.
