Tesla vehicles and dealerships across the country, at least nine states that is, have been targeted in a series of arson attacks, gunfire, incidents, and vandalism. The wave of a. Of attacks began in January, 2025 following President Trump’s appointment of Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, to lead the Department of Government efficiency.

President Trump had this to say on truth social on Friday regarding these attacks. I look forward to watching the sick. Terrorists thugs get 20 years jail sentences for what they are doing to Elon Musk and Tesla. Perhaps they could serve them in the prisons of El [00:02:00] Salvador, which have become so recently famous for such lovely conditions.

So Ellis, we’ve seen the left complain about domestic terrorism for years. Now, why are they so silent all of a sudden when it comes to these attacks toward Tesla?

Ellis Henican: John, this isn’t, this isn’t easy when sell you Tesla. Right, dump the stock. Go to one of the hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of peaceful protests that are popping up all around the country. Next Saturday, by the way, is gonna be a, a very big day for these, uh, these, uh, anti Tesla, anti-US protests, but do not, do not engage in vandalism or any more serious violence.

I’m very proud as a damn. That no serious democratic person, no big leader, no important person has stood up and defended the violence. [00:03:00] People who commit violence ought to be arrested. Thankfully, it’s a tiny, tiny group of idiots in a couple of different places. But I think there’s a lot of anger out there, John, at some of the terrible things that Elon Musk is doing.

Threatening people’s social security and Medicare and uh, digging through personal records, uh, undermining veterans benefits. I mean, there is a lot of anger out there and a lot of people are peacefully. Taking it out on Tesla.

John Burnett: You know, Jean Ellis mentions, you know, social security, but many people hold Tesla in their retirement accounts.

What’s your response?

Gene Valentino: An idea? I have a lot of Tesla stock myself, and I think it’s a good time to buy. Uh, I think the future is gonna be fantastic with this, with Tesla in particular, a, a lot of people are holding Tesla stock because a lot of people believe in what Elon Musk is doing. Uh, he’s not trying to disrupt Social Security or Medicare.

He’s under the orders of Donald Trump and Doge. To help clean out the [00:04:00] wrongdoing, which has been allowed to fester over decades. We’re less than a hundred days on the job with Trump, and he’s uncovered so much. It is transformative. It is disruptive in the sense that this is a big shock to the nation, but this is.

This is a major disintegration of our Constitutional Republic, which was saved when 80 million people stepped up. That’s the mandate. 80 people gave Trump and and Musk the mandate to clean house, and that’s what they’re doing. And the left doesn’t like it.

John Burnett: You know, Ellis, what do you make of President?

Trump’s comments that he looks forward to these terrorist thugs getting 20 year sentences.

Ellis Henican: Well, that, that’s not really what we, uh, send people to prison for, for vandalism in this country. I should say to to, to Gina, I’m very, very sorry about the decal stuff. I know it’s gone down, I think about 50% since, uh, the end of last year.
