Our e-mail is newstalk1o7.1@gmail.com.
0:17
It’s 16 minutes after 7 O clock.
0:24
People have been waiting and waiting and waiting for this moment.
0:27
And Michael, I’m going to give you the honors of the introduction.
0:30
Let me just say this.
0:31
We got the Velvet Hammer in studio with us this morning via Zoom.
0:36
And the studio crowd is, well, can I just say excited?
0:42
Good morning, Gene.
0:43
I consider this rather titillating.
0:49
You, you’ve you’ve been with us.
0:51
You were with us last week.
0:52
We talked mostly about Katrina last week.
0:54
We’ve had a really a couple of weeks.
0:56
But but since we’ve been able to really nail down some politics and talk about what’s going on in Washington.
1:02
I know you’ve got a lot of stuff on the table this morning that you want to talk about.
1:06
HHS Secretary, he, he really took a beating yesterday from some of these so-called senators scoundrels really if you ask me.
1:17
There was a dinner last night.
1:19
We’re going to talk about more on that in just a minute.
1:22
You know, Zuckerberg and Gates and all of those guys were eating dinner last night with Trump.
1:27
So, so we’re going to give you more on that.
1:29
But the very first thing I want to talk about is something that really excites me because this is the beginning of the end of fentanyl and and what’s the other drug gene that they that that methamphetamines that are so damage damaging to our people in this country.
1:51
Millions of people are buying this stuff.
1:55
Thousands of people are dying because they take it.
2:00
President Trump made the decision that since trendy Agra I I can’t hardly say that name the correct way, but we know everybody knows what I’m talking about.
2:11
They have been designated as a terrorist organization and that has legal meaning when the president does that and that allows him to be able to utilize the military, just like we did against Soleimani over in Iraq.
2:28
It’s the same thing.
2:29
There are terrorist organization and we’re able to use the military kinetic strikes against targets that we know are a part of that organization.
2:40
That happened this week.
2:42
That sent a big message to everybody involved.
2:47
Be careful because Donald Trump is not scared to pull the trigger.
2:52
I want to know what you thought about that.
2:54
Well, I’m, I’m amazed to watch and see how little we have to do to garner the respect of the world.
3:05
I mean, a few weeks earlier it was putting a bomb down a four foot hole in Iran’s nuclear plant.
3:14
And now it’s now it’s, you know, nailing a vessel in the waters that we’re transporting highly toxic drugs to the ultimately the United States.
3:28
What do I think about it?
3:29
I think America has very little it needs to do to regain its sense of respect and worth.
3:38
Whether we want to do it, whether we trip and fall over our own shoelaces and and and block our own success is a different story.
3:49
But we can definitely succeed in the world scene again very easily.
3:54
Trende Agua a President Morrow stunt to Maduro stunt Maduro stunt to to try to take down his enemy, the United States of America, when America now puts a $50 million bounty on his head.
4:18
Is is there’s something that’s going to collapse very soon.
4:23
How and when, I don’t know, but it’s it’s apparent to me that these extremists are being dealt with formidably and must the the woke left obstructionists will appear now to try to block things that Trump is doing in court.
4:45
It’s a temporary discomfort, but they’re not going to win because the America, America, the majority of America is behind Donald Trump’s actions.
4:56
These conversations about I hate Trump, I don’t like him are meaningless.
5:01
They’ve gone by the wayside.
5:03
They’re everyone.
5:05
I don’t have to like the guy, but he’s so impressive and successful with his performance on the job in the in the 7-8 months of his of his current return to office, the real story is going to be what happens at the end of four years.
5:23
I suspect something unique, something unprecedented will occur to allow him to go with third term.
5:32
But if that doesn’t happen, he’s got a bench.
5:35
He’s got a deep bench of folks behind him that he can counsel and give advice to after his four years.
5:44
I’m so impressed with the elimination of these radical groups quickly and formidably to and the ones that really bother me the most from the southern border are the ones that have taken poor innocent children generally under generally youth, but mostly under 8 to 12 years of age and abuse them physically, emotionally.
6:12
And now here we are trying to reunite those children with their parents and we got a Democrat left.
6:21
I think we are having an issue with the zoom this morning.
6:26
I don’t know what’s going on, but can you hear me?
6:34
Not sure what we can do about this.
6:36
Are you, are you there?
6:37
Are you there now?
6:38
Can you hear me now?
6:40
Yeah.
6:40
Yeah.
6:40
Something happened and we lost about 10 seconds of your audio.
6:45
Oh, I’m.
6:46
I don’t know what’s going on.
6:48
Maybe another deep state, Another deep state initiative.
6:53
Well, I can.
6:54
If we can hear me now, I’ll proceed.
6:56
I was talking about this deep state effort to take young youth, youth from the southern border who came over the line allegedly with family members.
7:07
They weren’t.
7:08
They were cartel coyotes that were dragging youth across the line.
7:13
These little children were being abused in one way, shape or form.
7:17
And the fact be that that they were, that the United States government under Christy Gnomes and and ICE operations under Tom Homan were are now aggressively in just seven months reuniting these children with parents on the on the Mexican border side.
7:39
That’s what.
7:40
Go ahead.
7:41
Go ahead.
7:42
Yeah, I don’t know what the problem is this morning.
7:45
Yeah, I see the break in communication, but if I’ll just continue until you can’t, can’t hear me.
7:51
The the bottom line is, is that America’s doing something in short order to fix this damn mess that was created for four years, primarily in the Biden administration.
8:02
But the earlier issue you brought up about Bill Gates and and and Zuckerberg at dinner last night, I mean, let’s face it, there’s been a pattern of deep state bad behavior that goes back decades.
8:18
And to think America has moved so quickly and successfully in just seven months.
8:26
Yeah, the screen froze up again, Jean, and we heard absolutely none of that.
8:31
I don’t know what’s going on.
8:33
It’s it’s one of those kind of things that I don’t think that it’s on our end.
8:38
I think that there’s something to do with the connection with the Internet that we use on Zoom.
8:43
But I can see you now.
8:45
I can, I think you’re back.
8:47
Can you hear me loud and clear, buddy?
8:50
I’m so sorry.
8:52
Well, you know, these kind of things, this is live radio.
8:55
This is what happens occasionally.
8:57
And you know, we, we understand that.
8:59
But in any case, the, the 2, the Zuckerberg and the Gates of the world, all of those folks, you know, these were people that were 100% against Donald Trump.
9:12
And to see him sit there with them in the in the White House having dinner, it’s kind of funny because you know, he’s putting his he’s letting them know who the boss is and that they messed up, but he’s giving them an opportunity to change things, to turn it around.
9:32
I think is is where froze up.
9:52
Dearborn MI have come up with a patch, a police patch that says Dearborn MI and it also has Dearborn MI police in Arabic.
10:05
Now, what does that tell you about what’s going on in Michigan?
10:08
That’s that’s the question we got to ask.
10:10
Gene, I think you’re back.
10:12
Yeah.
10:12
I don’t understand why Dearborn MI is worried more about patches in Arabic, on law enforcement sleeves and then in the same breath, deep posturing to defund the police.
10:25
This is obscene and I think America has just about had enough of it.
10:31
We talked years ago and it happened, the complete meltdown of the Democrat Party.
10:37
We saw Trump come back under unusual circumstances that were unprecedented.
10:43
And now we see a turn in the economy, the protection of the border, the reduction of the unemployment rate, the the reduction of inflation and the increase in jobs and economic opportunity.
10:56
We’ve seen the use political use of tariffs for by by government to steer a policy position that the elected officials have or should have.
11:09
And then we see the use the stock market reacting to those tariffs regret with reticence.
11:18
They they see a success of the use of tariffs that has turned the economy around.
11:24
The question will be shortly just how soon Jay Powell reduces interest rates and an explosion of positivity in the stock market or into 2026.
11:36
I think that if they lower interest rates, that’ll make more capital available for folks to do some things they’ve been wanting to do.
11:43
They’ve been waiting on this and, and I think you’ll see the economy start to shoot in the in a different direction.
11:50
You know, we, we’ve had, I mean, there, the jobs report is positive.
11:54
They say they only expected just a small amount of jobs created in, in August.
12:00
However, you know, August is sort of a slow time of the year and people don’t really do a lot in August.
12:06
I think you’re start, you’re going to see now in September, October, November, December, you know, the move toward Christmas, the hiring of part time people to help out in retail.
12:16
You’re going to see a lot of things change here pretty quickly.
12:19
My eggplant is growing.
12:23
The heat of the summer has passed.
12:25
And I got came out this morning before our show this morning and had the sip of my coffee and there’s a dozen black eggplant hanging off the Bush.
12:34
And I’m saying things are getting a little better around here.
12:38
Now we’re cooking.
12:48
Froze up.
12:51
It’s the Sorry, Michael.
12:55
You’re frozen.
12:57
If you can hear me, I cannot hear you.
13:18
Yeah, there you are.
13:18
Gene, can you hear me?
13:20
Loud and clear.
13:21
Now there’s something going on.
13:23
Gentlemen, I regret to say the viewers and listeners are missing part of what’s going on here, and I apologize for that.
13:30
I don’t know what it is.
13:32
We well, it just says it just says on my Zoom screen, it just says bad connection.
13:38
So let me ask you, is there any significance that drone flying over the radio station?
13:44
Oh, no, you know, you’re you’re motivating people to shoot them down for this reason.
13:50
Yeah, well, we don’t.
13:52
We don’t want the drones flying over.
13:53
And there could be some Democrats, though, flying a drone to see what’s going on around, and they would be in a blimp.
13:59
Yeah, they sure would.
14:00
You’re right, Gene.
14:02
All right, We’re out of time.
14:03
I’m sorry that we had the bad connection, but we got most of what you what you wanted to say this morning.
14:09
So thank you for joining us.
14:10
We appreciate it.
14:12
I look forward to it.
14:13
Again.
14:13
Thanks, Ted.
14:14
Thank you, Michael.
14:16
I think it was at Darn Sushi.
14:19
We started talking about gas station sushi.
14:22
That’s what I we got.
14:23
That’s what got us in trouble.
14:25
Got you.
14:26
OK.
14:26
We’ll talk to you soon, Gene.
14:28
Take care, buddy.
14:29
Bye.
14:29
Bye.
14:30
Bye.
14:39
This is.
