Valentino here with Mary Beth Martin from Tea Party Patriots. Mary Beth, welcome aboard. I I I have like seven or eight conservative topics to get into.

Well, conservative topics, they’re topics and our conservative bent is probably what uh fascinates me about you

when we met more recently at a conference. Uh, Mary Beth, tell us first a little bit about yourself and how you

ended up as co-founder of Tea Party Patriots. Well, thank you so much for having me.

And um, back in 2009, Rick Santelli had a rant on the floor of the Chicago Merkantile Exchange. During that rant,

he complained about the stimulus bill that President Obama was advancing. And that was, remember in 2009, there was

the first major piece of legislation that President Obama had. It was on the heels of TARP and the bank bailouts that

President George W. Bush um had during the last year of his his his term. And

um then Senator Well, I mean, I I I guess both were senators. So, Senator John McCain and then Senator Barack

Obama in 2008 both

both um both people um both voted on the

bill and and so people were just angry about this. So, they they voted on it and that it just wasn’t the in line with

what we expected from government spending. So Rick Santelli had this rant about the Chicago Merkantile Exchange and or on on the floor of the Chicago

Merkantile Exchange said our founding fathers would be turning over in the graves and we needed to have a tea party just like our founding fathers. So we

heard that I actually heard it um in the car listening I think I heard it on Rush Limba’s radio program and it went viral

in a time when when things didn’t go viral every minute or two like it does today on Tik Tok and Instagram. So, we

got on a conference call the next day on a Friday morning or Friday evening and there were about two dozen of us on this conference call. We decided to strike

while the iron was hot and have tea parties like our founding fathers. The next Friday at noon Eastern time, we

wound up having 48 tea parties around the country with 35,000 people in attendance. Wow. and and then um about 6

weeks later on tax day we had over 850 tea parties with over a million people

in attendance and later that year we had um a march on DC that had over a million and a half people in attendance. The

thing is the thing that brought us all together were three core values um fiscal responsibility, constitutionally

limited government and free markets. And we talk about that today more in terms of personal freedom, economic freedom, and a debt-free future. But it’s really

the same three core values. Tea Party Patriots was the organization that formed to support those 850 plus local

leaders and we’re we’re the only national group that formed in the middle of that movement and we continue today.

And what’s really key about this, which is what caught my attention, uh, and I was very fond of where you were going

with your your your narrative, is that there’s Tea Party Patriots sits against a

backdrop of an unbelievable uprising of uh, dissent

uh, and and and vitriol in the in the constitutional republic system. I see so

much anger and adversity being pushed onto America from the far left that it’s

not even the far left was unheard of 6 to 10 years ago. Now it’s almost becoming a norm and the moderates uh

that we thought were further left are almost the standard by which we’re trying to communicate with. What’s going

on with the Democrat party that makes Tea Party Patriots so important?

Well, I think there are a couple things that are going on and I’d like to go first to our core values and how we we started and then go into what what what we’re seeing happen on the left today.

So, we were outraged about specific pieces of legislation. We were upset about the TARP bill. We were upset about

the bank bailouts. were upset about the stimulus bill and about Obamacare.

They’re very specific pieces of legislation. And we realized along the way that the reason we were upset with it is because our government was not

sticking to the Constitution. It it was too much spending and too big of a government and a government that was deciding it had to sacrifice the free

markets in order to save the free markets. You can’t do that. that’s not consistent with the values that we

believe in as Americans. And that struck us as wrong. And so we we worked hard

throughout that time. And yes, we got angry at President Obama, but we got angry at President Obama because of what

he was doing in the legislation he was advancing. And while he was president, there were things that he did that I could acknowledge as a fellow human

being and as an American that even though I didn’t agree with many of the policies, I thought there were things that he did that were good. For

instance, I always said he seemed to be a wonderful father to his two daughters and that he seemed to be a good husband.

And I I could see the humanity in in the man even though I had problems with him

as a a a not as the president but with the policies he was working on as president. And we found these three core

values and we talked about them constantly. Not we found them but we realized what we were doing was rooted in three core values that united all of

us and we stuck with those. What we’re seeing on the left today is anger and

hatred towards President Trump and towards his supporters in a manner that

dehumanizes both President Trump and all of his supporters. It is rooted in anger. It is rooted in hatred. And it is

so the hatred runs so deep that there are people on the left today who simply can’t see straight because of it. and

they think it is okay to to take up arms and attempt to assassinate the president. They thought it was okay that

Charlie Kirk was assassinated. Not just that one deranged individual assassinated Charlie Kirk, but that

people online have championed that assassination. That is completely wrong.

And until the leadership in the Democrat party acknowledges that this is a problem and that they they need to say, you know, we could disagree with

policies, but we all live in the same country. We’ve got to find a way to get along because the people who disagree with us may live next door to us or shop

at the same grocery store, be getting gas at this the pump right next to us a few feet away. And they can’t seem to be able to set that example from the top.

And as long as they don’t set that example from the top, we’re going to continue to see major problems out of the Democrat party. It’s unhinged. It’s

unhelpful. And it is truly very harmful to our country.

Yeah. I don’t see Republicans like uh Maxine Water was as a Democrat. I don’t

see Republicans confronting people at the gas pump or in restaurants or uh demanding to the restaurant tour that

they remove uh me or other conservatives from the um from the place uh because

they’re upset about the politics of that person. I don’t see Republicans being that extreme. Um it was only yesterday

in Trump’s first um term uh 45 where a bunch of Republicans were at the um

bipartisan baseball game in uh DC. And it was only the um it was only the

Republicans that were gone after um Speaker of the House at the time um um Congressman Scaliz taking a near fatal

injury um- with the outcome of that and other people getting injured as well.

Since then, America should be seeing um this acceleration.

And it boils down to things like George Soros and other conspirators at the top

funding the vitriol and the u riotist type of behavior coming out of the left.

And all of a sudden in the backdrop uh which is why I asked you about Rick Santilli, you see um the this Tea Party

uh of patriots uh stepping up and accelerating its membership the way it has. Uh I’m not suggesting they they

bear arms and start killing people, but my words um you’re left thinking what is left if law enforcement is not going to do something about this.

you do wind up thinking that, but definitely we are not at all calling for anyone to take up arms. She said, and

I’m I’m just repeating that. Um the the thing is right now in this administration, law enforcement is

paying attention to it. And in Utah, where Charlie Kirk was assassinated, law enforcement is paying attention to it.

Law enforcement and the judicial system needs to pay attention to it across the country. We have a situation where the

judge in the current case with the most recent assassination attempt um on President Trump, the judge was apologizing to the alleged perpetrator.

I the judge doesn’t need to be apologizing. Stop apologizing. So, and I think that when that begins to happen,

then you’re back at a point where even the judges are are deranged right now.

They are so the hatred is seeped so deeply into their body that they can’t they they just can’t quite see straight.

And they need to they need to honestly they need to just take a pause. They need to get off of social media altogether, get off of the internet all

together and just go take a pause and and rethink what’s important in life and why they began doing what they’re doing.

because we’re what we’re seeing from the left is just it is a a real problem no matter what though when it comes to the

Tea Party movement and I think more broadly when it comes to the conservative movement and the MAGA movement or the make America great again

movement we love our country at heart we absolutely love our country we

understand there are founding documents in our country the constitution the declaration of independ dependence and that part of what is so important and

makes our country special and unique from from many other countries in the world is that we have a rule of law and

we abide by that rule of law. We understand no man is above the law and also that we don’t just make up law as

we go. We have to work through a legislative process and it has to be laws must be signed by an executive.

So even when we get angry at the way things are going as conservatives, we fall back on those founding principles and I think that helps keep us grounded.

And I’m not saying that there won’t be crazy people on our side as well. And if there are, we need to call them out and say it’s not acceptable. But I think on

the left right now, they think more government is the solution. Bigger government is the solution. They don’t have the same kind of limiting

principles that we have. And because of that, they’re able to to keep expanding what they think is acceptable because

they don’t have the same limiting principles.

Yeah. Yeah. It’s um um less government is better government. That’s always been the case. Uh I think um in that context,

what’s your attitude? I’ll jump on a few points now with you as it pertains to the Tea Party Patriots. Uh the economy

versus tariffs. Uh, where are you going with that?

Well, um, I think that there there are a couple of of things that that we think about about tariffs. Largely overall and

historically, we would acknowledge that tariffs are a tax and taxes increase prices because taxes eventually

are are baked into the cost of goods and that impacts consumers.

We also understand that what we have seen play out over the last several decades in in America is that we have

called for for free trade and free trade is a wonderful wonderful principle and we should have free trade but we’re we

don’t we haven’t had free trade with other countries. They’ve created tariffs. They’ve created barriers to entry. They have governments that are

subsidizing their businesses. And then we expect American companies on their own without government subsid sub

subsidization to have to compete with companies that are owned by foreign governments. That creates an unequal

playing field. It’s not it isn’t and I don’t necessarily mean it’s free fair trade, but it’s it we’re not playing on

the same playing field. And what President Trump is attempting to do is trying to shift that playing field so it’s more balanced so that we can

compete in a more in a more fair manner at least so that we’re not competing with one hand tied behind our back. And

I think he’s trying to free that up through the tariffs. I think it’s very important to do that. And I also think

that what he is he’s doing besides just tariffs which are an important part of of his agenda,

he is working to bring manufacturing back to America. And we saw in 2020 and

2021 and 2022 as a world lockdown, we saw how dependent we are with imports in

this country and how susceptible that can make us. And honestly, it could put us at a national security disadvantage,

especially if we’re dealing with medication, essential medications, common medications, electrical supplies

for for the power grid, um computing equipment, chips, those kind of things.

Yes, we do want to be able to compete and have great great prices for consumers and and more more trade and

capitalism around the world. And we also have to make sure we are able to produce those things here in America in the event that the world locks down again.

Uh you’re watching Jenny Beth Martin, America’s uh favorite Tea Party Patriot and co-founder of Tea Party Patriots.

Um, okay. You know, one of the things I found interesting, um, which is why I

asked you about Rick Santelli, um, and how it morphed, your operation, morphed out of his and grew so quickly, is that

its economic interests mirror kind of what Donald Trump is doing. The fact

that tariffs were used with foreigners, a ripple effect indeed into our economy maybe, but the intent wasn’t to that.

The intent was to impose uh pressure on adversaries who were at odds with us on

various levels either uh in terms of policy or or or or some level of difference. And um we see it’s working.

The trillions of dollars he’s brought in has not only stimulated growth within the United States, most of which has not

revealed itself or shown itself here in the States yet in terms of an economic return on investment, but I believe it’s

coming. Uh what’s your take on tariffs as a solution for political uh discord?

Well, I think that President Trump has shown that tariffs can be a very powerful negotiating tool. And it’s one that I would suggest that all presidents

should consider and not just leave not leave it on the table and not allow it to be a a negotiating tool. He’s been

able to use it use it effectively and get foreign countries to to understand whatever the negotiating position is

that that he has been working on. And I I think that as Americans, we want a president who is willing to go and make

deals with other countries that benefit America and put America and Americans first. That’s what President Trump is

doing. And I hope that other presidents remember President Trump’s example and learn from it and use it in the future.

Boy, I hope someday uh I was going to say make him the fifth bust on the Mount Rushmore wall over there. Now, at this

point, I’ve never seen such a transformative president, at least my reading of American history and our

presidents, it’s gone. He’s he’s done so many transformative things. Here we have an issue with how the far-left is

impacting uh just Tom Hol Homeman’s division of ICE and um the recapturing of illegal

aliens that shouldn’t be here and voting in the first place. And here he is

taking so much internal strife while trying to manage an overseas policy in

several nations around the world where he’s mitigating issues of war either between foreign nations or or their

impact with the United States. He manages to button up a plan of recovery

for Venezuela. and with one arm tied behind his back, he’s now dealing with Iran. Your comment?

Yeah, I think that what President Trump is doing when he is looking at Venezuela, at Iran, um at Ukraine and

Russia is quite phenomenal. He is working very hard to it is from what I can observe and what I can see and I’m

not a foreign policy expert. So I come at this more as a a grassroots person uh like the average American. As I look at

what he’s doing, it seems to me especially with Iran that he’s saying Iran has been at war with us for 47

years. It’s almost my entire life. It is President Trump’s entire adulthood. and

he is saying I want to reset this and I want to fix what is is wrong and make it

make it right again. And he I think that is exactly what he’s doing. And he’s trying to make it right for his children

and his grandchildren. And I and he’s he has promised when he was on the campaign trail to put America first and to make

our country great again. One way to ensure that happens is to make sure that Iran never has the ability to have a

nuclear weapon and to reset the stage in the Middle East so that Iran understands and all of the surrounding countries

understand that we’re not going to to play games with Iran anymore. They can’t continue to be a proxy to terrorism in

the Middle East, in America, and around the world. And I that is what President Trump is working on so hard right now

when it it comes to Iran. At least from the way that I am observing everything.

He’s worked to have peace between um Gaza and Israel. He has taken care of

the situation in Venezuela. And I think all of these actions send a message to both Russia and also importantly to

China that we have a president in America who is looking out for America and neither country is going to be able

to roll over us in at least during his term and hopefully we’ve set the stage so they cannot do that in the f in any

time in the near future. And then you look at the challenges that he has like with what’s happening where so many on

the left are opposing what he’s doing when it comes to immigration and deportations as you were mentioning at the beginning of this this question. And

it it’s a real problem. All he’s trying to do with immigration and deportation is follow the law and enforce the law.

He hasn’t created new laws. He’s just merely enforcing the current law. And the people who are so deranged that we talked about at the very beginning of

the show, they just they can’t let their hatred they let they allow their hatred to get in the way of looking at at the facts.

Do you from where you sit do you see I keep referring to the deep state operatives the George Soroses the Bill

Gates the Zuckerberg an error where there and I could name another 20 that worked complicitly in trying to it seems

to take down America. So here he is with these foreign issues which really do have a direct impact although not too obvious have a direct impact on America.

And at the same time from within the United States we see these operatives

trying to uh stifle ISIS’s ability to deport true illegal aliens uh in

complicit with the judiciary itself. uh what’s um Tea Party Patriots

uh role in uh helping with conservative government and the and Trump’s administration try to try to curtail the

far-left’s ability to take to to cause disruption.

So I think one of the biggest things that that we can do as T pretty patriots action is make sure that we are informing people about what the problems

were at the border before President Trump became president and why it is so important that he is working to deport the people who entered the country

illegally. Right now he’s focused simply on the worst of the worst people who have committed murder or attempted

murder or attacked um and physically harmed other Americans. sexual assault um and and those those kind of vicious

violent violent crimes. He isn’t even as focused on the rest of the people who have entered the country illegally which

I think also must eventually be addressed as well. It’s important that we remind people

of the things like um the the deaths of the people who and the murders of the people who happened because of illegal

immigrants. And one that hits us very very um deep in the gut here at Tea Party Patriots Action is the death of

Lake and Riley. And that is because Lake and Riley, well, she she went to the same elementary school as my children.

She was a year older than my children.

Had the same teacher uh for first grade that my children had a year year before my my children. And after she died,

there were ribbons around trees all over this community. And in her memory, it

was a terrible, terrible murder that could have been avoided had a person who entered the country illegally never come

into the country at all. And I’ve met many families over the last 14 or so years since um 2013 when we began

working on securing the border. I’ve met many families of people who are what are called angel families. Their their loved

ones have been killed or murdered by uh illegal immigrants in this country. Some of it is through car accidents. others

it’s it’s a much more violent death like like what happened with Lake and Riley.

And and some people listening to this may say, “Well, yeah, but car wrecks happen.” And they do indeed happen. Yet

those deaths that happened in a car wreck because a person entered this country illegally could have been

avoided had we just secured the border the way President Trump is doing right now. the ne those people who were behind

the wheel and should not have been driving for whatever the reason was and wound up killing an American or a legal

resident in this country. Um the they never would have been here. So they never would have had the opportunity for

that car wreck to even happen had they not entered the country illegally. And I think it’s important for us to remind people of that. Important to remind

people no laws have changed. All President Trump is doing is enforcing the laws that are already on the books that have been on the books for decades

and be supportive of the actions that he is taking and remind people you don’t want what happened to Lake and Riley to

be what happens to your daughter or your wife or your mother. and um and

continuing to advocate for for in the memory of the people who had such

terrible things happen um at the hands of people who’ve entered the country illegally. I think that is the best thing that we can do as activists right

now is have those conversations with our friends and families and friends, family, neighbors, and and just remind

them this is what it was like up until less than 24 months ago. And you feel more secure right now because of the

actions of President Trump. You will feel even more secure if he continues a mission and continues the job.

You know, the 2026 election is accelerating, getting closer, and so is a lot of the action and playbyplay

around this 2026 election. What’s Green Party Patriots action role in uh this up and cominging election?

We will be working through our super PAC Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund to get out the vote. We will be focused in

Georgia for sure. We’d love to see Senator John Oaf defeated. That seat should belong to a Republican, but he’s

now a senator and he has a record. So, we’ll we’ll be pointing out his record.

And we understand senators raise a lot of money. So, it is an uphill hill battle. The primary is ongoing in

Georgia even as we speak. And then we’ll also be working in Wisconsin, Nevada,

um Arizona, and North Carolina. and also Michigan helping get out the vote in those states. Usually what what we do is

work with our grassroots activists on the ground in those states helping equip them so they can get out the vote locally.

Well, you’ve got a full-time job if for no other reason than to clean up that voter role and um help them make sure

that those voting are truly American citizens. What’s Tea Party uh Patriots

action position on matters related to um immigration specifically and citizenship? What’s going to happen?

Do we need a constitutional amendment to make sure the person voting is not only

voting fairly uh but uh and that has more to do with the operation within the within the given systems of the states.

But I’m more concerned about are they truly a person who should be voting in the first place?

Well, um the So I think that you’re you’re asking a couple of things. One, if you’re asking about um birthright

citizenship, I support the administration’s position. I think that the constitution um was correctly

interpreted initially when the amendment was made to ensure that people who had been slaves were uh granted citizenship

and that their children were granted citizenship and it was interpreted correctly for for many years and then it

went sideways and it’s time to get that that ship writed and to get that back in the right direction. What the Supreme

Court will do, I am am unsure. I don’t have a crystal ball. So, we’ll have to to see how they rule in that particular

case. When it comes to ensuring that only American citizens vote in American elections, we have been

the number one organization. I would say we’re probably tied with um Election Integrity Network and for the last

couple of years on this and most recently also with Scott Pressler and early vote action on advocating for the

Save America Act. We want to make sure that you must show proof of citizenship to register to vote. If you’re already

registered, you’re registered. You don’t have to show proof of citizenship. But if you re-register, you must show proof of citizenship. That means a passport or

most people have their birth certificate or know how to to get their hands on their birth certificate. They’ve had to do that recently to get a real ID

anyway. So just making sure that same kind of documentation that is required for the real ID is required to register

to vote. And then taking that photo ID and using that photo ID to actually cast the ballot to make sure that the person

who is casting the ballot really is who they say they are. It’s amazing how they’re making a big issue of uh of this

as if it’s such an inconvenience and a disruption when in fact it’s been the norm for as long as I’ve been alive

in in getting um getting proof of of of your identity in place. Uh so I don’t know. They’re they’re reaching for

straws. I’m still concerned about the deflection and distraction from the far-left, the deep state operatives who

are using issues to def deflect and distract your attention away from the wrongdoing. Who knows what’s going on?

You have an opinion about Elon Omar and her lack of cooperation before Congress right now?

Well, I think that her lack of cooperation is a real a real issue and Congress is going to have to address it.

I think the situation in um Minnesota with the fraud is a problem and there sure seems to be a lot of smoke around

Ilan Omar. Perhaps it is just all smoke and mirrors and there’s really nothing nothing to see there at all and she can

clear everything up. Oftent times when there’s smoke there’s fire. So, we’ll have to see how how that actually plays out. But the only way we’re going to

know is is to make sure there’s an adequate investigation, which I think is what Congress is working on. And also,

we’ve seen the administration working on that through through the investigative bodies in inside of Minnesota. And yeah,

and it’s not just Elon Omar when we’re dealing with and talk and or Elon Omar in Minnesota, I should say, more

broadly, just the situation regarding fraud in Minnesota. That’s not where it’s only limited to. There’s there are

problems with fraud in California. We saw just this week videos coming out of Ohio where where fraud is happening in

Ohio. And I suspect we have got fraud happening in every single state of in the country. And I am extremely hopeful

that Vice President Vance is able to address this fraud and correct it and that we are able to to see real

prosecutions coming out of the person who’s now been assigned to investigate this um through through the Department

of Justice and that contracts are rolled back and that that we can recover some of the taxpayer money because fraud it’s

not just an accounting error. It’s not just as I think many previous administrations and congresses have thought of it as the cost of doing

business. It’s actually theft from the taxpayers. And we work entirely too hard and pay way too much in taxes across the

board. No matter who you are, if you’re paying taxes, you’re working hard to earn that money. And we deserve for our

money to be treated with the respect that that it deserves. And that means being mindful that it blood, sweat, and

tears went into that money when the t when when the government collects those taxes and they need to be respectful and

honor it and not allow fraud and theft to occur. Jenny Beth Martin with Tea Party Patriots Action. Jenny Beth, it

was only a year ago uh Elon Musk had Doge underway under President Trump. He opened up the box and thought he’d see a

cricket or two pop out. Oh no, there’s rattlesnakes flying out all over. He slams the box shut, goes back to his job

and says, “I’m going to protect Tesla, which is now under attack.” But he had create opened the door. He had opened

Pandora’s box and shown us just how corrupt and deep the fraud goes that you were just describing.

Can you imagine if he was still in his role under President Trump uncovering what Nick Shirley seems to have done

pretty well at? And you mentioned California and other states. My words, the fraud is so rampant. Boy, we could

buy with all the money going into those um those daycare centers in uh Minnesota, we could buy Greenland.

Yeah, we we really could buy Greenland maybe a couple times over. That’s right.

So Elon Musk said to members of Congress and the president that he thought he could find a trillion with a T dollars

in waste, fraud, and abuse. Members of Congress then asked him, “Oh, you mean like over the next the next 10 years?” Because that’s how Congress thinks. they

think in terms of budgets and spending that is allocated for a 10-year period at a time. And he said, “No,

this year with one year of spending.” And they all I I heard these conversations recounted to me from

members of Congress. They kind of laughed and they kind of scoffed like, “Oh, that that’s you’ll never be able to

find that.” Well, Elon Musk is the richest man in the world. I would suggest that he is one of, if not the

smartest men in the world, smartest people in the world, and he understands numbers. He and he’s not afraid of

zeros. Oftentimes I see that members of Congress, they haven’t dealt with budgets that are in the hundreds of millions or tens of millions, hundreds

of millions, billions, and trillions of dollars. So all those commas and zeros kind of paralyze them and it makes them

not know exactly how to op operate and function because there’s so many zeros and commas. That doesn’t bother Elon

Musk. He’s dealing with with numbers that are much bigger than that as he’s trying to figure out how to get to Mars and return and do so safely and allow

Mars to colonize. These are big ideas that require a lot of math. He’s not afraid of numbers. So when the richest

and smart one of the smartest men in the world says he thinks there’s a trillion dollars, I I listened and I thought,

“Wow, if he thinks that, I bet he’s right.” So So what happens? We fast forward now about a year since he he he

said that. And that story was first um recounted to me. And we see what Nick Shirley has uncovered. We saw that in

January or very late December in Minnesota. And then he’s been to California. And then I saw a video last night about problems in Ohio. And we’ve

seen it in other states. And I think that the fraud the fraud that Elon Musk was thinking existed, we are uncovering

it through the works of people like uh uh Nick Shirley. And I we need more of it. And we need each state’s attorney

general to go and investigate this as if it were theft from their own their own personal checking account. They need to

treat it with that much intensity and respect and concern because even and I think states oftent times they just

don’t really care because it’s money coming to the state from the federal government. It’s not out of the state’s budget. So they just don’t really care.

It’s not personal. But the attorney generals and the local district attorneys need to be working with the Department of Justice and they need to

act. Um, how would they feel if this money were stolen from their own checking account? They would be outraged

by it and they need to treat what’s happening to the taxpayers with the same kind of intensity they would treat their

theft against their own personal property.

It’s amazing to me and I think it’s caused many Americans to take pause as to what what their role could be or

should be in the future. Uh that’s why I’d like to encourage folks listening and watching with us now to reach out to

Tea Party Patriots uh action team and see what your role could be or should be with them and helping them grow their

organization which is now nationwide and throughout the world elsewhere. that it’s key to me that you have a role in extending or what’s the word?

Facilitating the Nick Shirley’s of the world so that a guy like Elon Musk can get back to

doing what he’s doing here. He is helping Donald Trump out and in the same with one arm tied behind his back, he’s

saving astronauts in outer space at the same same time. It’s it’s unbelievable complimenting Elon like you did for a

minute, but it’s also what I’m trying to get at is the Tea Party Patriots Action

um group is a it facilitates some of these other actions around the nation.

What else are you facilitating? Are you helping the Nick Shirley’s of the world?

Uh, are you working specifically in elections in targeted states? Are you helping with the rewriting of

legislative uh um text for the legislators to clean up their act at the state level?

Okay, I’m going to answer that. Before I do, I’d like to say one more thing about about the fraud. The left talks often

about um they talk often about affordability. It’s their big buzzword for the year. Your houses aren’t

affordable. your grocery store, whatever it might be. And it it is going to take time to unwind the the problems that we

saw from the lockdowns with COVID, which were then exacerbated by four years of the Biden uh presidency, which was a big

government big spending presidenc presidency.

I think that what people need to realize is that that government spending contributes largely to the inflation, the

inflationary problems that we saw during the Biden years. And President Trump is working to get that under control, but the inflation then caused prices to to

go up. So now we’ve got to grow the economy enough that that wages outpace inflation so that that wages catch back

up with inflation and things kind of stable stabilize out. If prices come down too much, we can be in deflationary

periods which are equally uh bad and and we don’t want either either one. Here’s the thing, though. When you’re worried

about um affordability, wouldn’t it be much more affordable if let’s say half a

trillion dollars or or more, possibly a trillion in fraud every year that that

we are losing money to that that money went to pay down the national debt or went as a tax break to every single

American citizen across the board. the economy would grow so much if the government were spending less money. And

also if we had a a another tax cut and I I look at all of this fraud, it must be

addressed. It must be wiped out. We we need to get rid of it. And I also think that kind of fraud that the Democrats

have allowed to happen like what we have seen play out in Minnesota, but it red states are not immune from it as well.

Um that kind of fraud, that kind of theft of our tax dollars, that is a major contributor to the so-called

affordability crisis that we’re facing in our country today. And so when the de the left is complaining about that and

their answer is more government spending and more government giveaways that will make the problem worse. It will create even more inflation. It will make things

even more unaffordable. But if they want to look at what are truly the problems, they should go look in the mirror because their big government spending

causes causes inflation. the fact that they’re unwilling to address affordability. The fact that they did not want any sort of work requirements

on Medicaid, minimal work requirements, 20 hours a week for an able-bodied person that is that’s not even a

full-time job. Um, they didn’t even want that built into the Medicaid system from the one big beautiful bill. They need to

go look in the mirror because the affordability problem starts with them.

Um, when it comes to what we are doing, Nick Shirley is doing amazing work. I’ve never met him. And I would say for

independent journalists like that. The person who is doing the most work to help them would be James O’Keefe. He

does amazing work and has trained people to do exactly the kind of work that Nick Shirley is doing. And we’re not quite

journalists the way that James O’Keeffe and and Breitbart and and other or organizations are. What we do is we

train and equip activists. So the big piece of legislation that we have worked on now for two years is the Save America

Act. It started out as a SAVE act and I actually am the one who asked Senator Mike Lee to write this to create a bill

to address the problem and it stems from a problem with a Supreme Court ruling in Arizona where the the Supreme Court

rightly said that Arizona must accept the form that stems from the National Voter Registration Act. That form has a simple check box to affirm citizenship.

It was a right decision because they did not create law out of whole cloth and they said federal law is supreme law of the land. There’s a problem with the

bill though and the way to get that corrected is to go back to Congress to correct it. So Arizona requires proof of

citizenship to register to vote. If you don’t require if you just fill out the form without showing proof of citizenship, you’re still able to vote.

So in Arizona, they have two kinds of ballots. one that has every office from president, vice president, senate,

congress, governor, all the way down to their most local office, which is actually a precinct committee man. Then if you haven’t shown proof of

citizenship, you can still get a ballot and vote for president, Senate, and Congress. And that’s that’s craziness to me. So, we’ve worked to try to get that

corrected, educating people across the country, equipping them with the information they need so they can address this and work to get it passed.

We’ve got it through this the House three times. We continue to put pressure on the Senate. We’re working to educate people to be poll watchers and poll

workers. We’ve been doing that for many years now and we will continue doing that as we head into this election season. And then we have an app that people can use to help get out the vote.

And we educate people on how to use that and we’ll be activating with with that app as we head into the general election season.

Yeah. Well, while ICE continues to get the illegals and the criminals from other nations out of the out of this

nation, I appreciate uh what Tea Party Patriots Action is doing because I think it’s more it’s more uh direct and has

greater consequences for the long-term protection of this nation. You’re helping to ensure the integrity of the vote and the voter. And I I couldn’t be

happier with that initiative. wherever you drop your tentacles uh into local communities around the

nation to help out. Knowing that you’re focused on that issue through the spirit of the SAVE uh act is to me so

important. I can’t believe that it would run up against so much criticism which lends to the real issue I start I kept

alluding to earlier in our conversation is what’s the motive? something so obvious that was intended by our

founding fathers, the right to vote meant you were an eligible voter. The fact that we have to argue about

birthright citizenship to me is um another distraction away from toward

diluting the impact of the American history, the American culture and the spirit of what distinguishes us from the

rest of the world. in that last three minutes, Jenny Beth Martin, uh, a closing comment or summary on you, your organization, and any topic in particular.

Sure. Well, when it comes to what you were just saying about about voting and why the left is opposing this, I agree with Speaker Mike Johnson, who has said

that at the end of the day, when you look at everything else, it just seems like the left wants to be able to cheat.

So, they want to make it easy to vote and easy to cheat, whereas we want to make it easy to vote, but hard to cheat.

action button, and get involved. We have calls to action every single week. Right now, we are heavily focused on the Save

America Act, and we will continue to do so as long as it is a viable option in the Senate, this particular Congress. We

also are looking at what’s going to happen with the next reconciliation bills. I think we’re going to see two more of those bills this year. The

reconciliation bill is the the kind of bill that was used for the one big beautiful bill and the tax cuts that we we saw passed and enacted into law last

Independence Day. We’re looking forward to America’s 250th anniversary. We’ll be with Moms for Liberty Liberty in San

Diego at the beginning of June celebrating that. And then Scott Presler and I are doing Save America tours

around the country. We’ve been to South Dakota, Arizona, and Alaska. I just got back from Alaska just in the last couple

of days. And we are headed to um Nevada and Maine, maybe back up to South Dakota. We’ll be hitting Arizona, not

Arizona, but North Carolina and Georgia as well. And we’re really looking forward to doing the I I’m just having the best time doing those rallies with

him. We’re meeting local activists, helping equip the grassroots, helping connect activists to one another, and

then making sure that people know how to take positive action so the love and the emotion and the passion they have for
