Jean, what is your reaction to Nick
Shirley’s um investigation out in
California? And why can’t Congress pass
uh the Save America Act that requires
voter ID and citizenship in order to
vote in federal elections?
Oh, they’d be lying. All right. And
yeah, Kelly, uh, they should pass the
Save America Voter ID Act for just, uh,
Nick the reasons that Nick Shirley was
asking about before this this worker.
Uh, the fact of the matter is, what’s
wrong with Victor uh, voter ID and
what’s wrong with making the election
itself real? I mean, uh, 20 million
votes during Obama’s, uh, administration
over to Biden, and we’re seeing all
these illegal aliens getting coming into
the system to vote, and Nick Shirley is
touching the tip of the iceberg just
like Elon Musk did in a different
context. And we’re watching America’s
shortcomings being revealed. We need to
fix it. All right. and an and I really
believe Kelly I’ve said it before we
need a constitutional amendment not
because I like the process or think it’s
clean and easy but because I don’t trust
the elected officials that uh are can
change things every 2 to four years uh
when a new generation of elected
officials come in we need cautisals in
place that are firm and enforcable that
prevent these kinds of antics
from occurring at the state and local
level. Yes, I’m talking about certain
national rules applying to local
elections. However, the local elections
should still be managed by the state.
You know, we’ve heard Donald Trump talk
a little bit about that nationalizing
elections and of course that’s why the
Democrats say they don’t want to pass
the Save Act because they don’t want
elections nationalized. They want that
control uh given to the state and local
uh jurisdictions. What’s ironic is
during Joe Biden’s administration, uh
their first piece of legislation was
HR1, which basically let anyone vote
anywhere in any state, uh illegal,
legal, dead, alive. Uh it didn’t get
through Congress because of the
filibuster, but um it certainly was
their goal to get that passed. That
being said, Jean, should Republicans
break the filibuster, bust the
filibuster to pass the Save America Act
knowing that Democrats might win the
midterms and when they have the
presidency will look to do so on their
own with their own terms?
Yeah, I agree with your point completely
and the answer is yes. In my opinion, uh
this issue is too serious uh uh to let
go by the wayside. Uh yes, uh go pass
the filibuster uh and uh go for a simple
majority in the Senate to allow the SAVE
Act to pass to ensure election
integrity. And then the clock’s ticking.
you know darn well that within two more
years at the next presidential election,
we’re going to have to be certain to uh
avoid bringing the filibuster back in by
making sure that the laws themselves are
strong enough to prevent uh
gerrymandering of the of the process in
the first place. So, I do agree the SAVE
Act, even if a fil even if we have to
put the filibuster aside, is absolutely
necessary to pass this law. This isn’t
about um political ranker or Republican
versus Democrat. This is about saving
our democracy. Regrettably, if this
doesn’t happen, I fear the takeown of
our constitutional republic, Kelly, as
Um, real quickly, the New York Times uh
called Nick Shirley’s reporting
sloppulism. That is airing out, you
know, populist grievances, giving them a
platform that are much larger uh than
the issue really is. Uh, quickly, your
reaction uh to Shirley’s reporting be
called sloppulism by the New York Times.
Yeah, they were misquing. I think they
should have been referring to AOCC’s
commentary over in Europe,
which was nothing less than that. Uh,
Hillary Clinton and um, and Gavin
Newsome. Why doesn’t Barack Obama spend
his time grabbing his soldiers like
these three U misfits, bringing them
back to the United States to get back
into their own states and solve the
problems in their own backyard and let a
Republican administration that
legitimately won the election carry on
the decent message that Marco Rubio did
with class without interruption or
distraction? To answer your question,
they’re masters at diverting,
