(2:06 – 2:32)
Let’s go to MyPillow. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, it is a great pleasure to introduce Gene Valentino. Good morning, Gene! Good morning, ladies and gentlemen! Good morning, Pine Belt! I liked what you were showing earlier about the temperature, around 45–50 degrees, but because of the humidity and moisture, it feels even worse.
(2:34 – 3:08)
Yes, it does. It’s like air you can wear, and we’re feeling the full effect of that gulf air that hits our area and makes it feel even colder than it really is. And there’s a scientific answer to this, by the way, because that humidity—your skin, according to something I saw yesterday—your skin has a tiny layer, very very thin, that holds a bit of warm air around your skin when you’re cold.
(3:09 – 3:42)
And when you put on a shirt, it makes you feel a bit warmer because it traps that warm air around your body. However, when you add humidity to that, those water molecules get in and interrupt that warm feeling and make you feel colder than you might feel in, maybe Minnesota or Illinois or wherever you are this morning outside of South Mississippi, because the air is colder out there. Yes, yes.
(3:44 – 4:18)
Maureen and I were in the northwest territories of Calgary, near the Arctic Circle in Canada last year: minus 40 degrees at night, 40 degrees Fahrenheit. And yes, it was cold. But, relatively speaking, humidity does not reach that temperature— it just turns to ice or frost— but wow, this cold humidity is certainly different from the damp humidity we’re feeling right now. Yes, well, welcome to the South.
(4:19 – 4:32)
If you like air you can wear, you’ll love this place. You’ll love it. Very good, thank you. I’m proud to say we’re Southerners after 40 years, so nobody’s changing our minds.
(4:32 – 4:48)
People in Connecticut don’t want us coming back with our political and social views. So we’re just happy in the South, where normal America seems to hold strong. Yes, that’s true.
(4:49 – 6:25)
And you know, we ask what’s going on in the minds of those folks living in that cold climate in the northern part of our country. I think the cold weather might do something to their brains, but I’m not sure. Anyway, politics is something you and I love to talk about.
You and I became friends through politics, and we’ve known each other for quite a while now. And you know, you and I always try to talk a little politics. So we’ll talk about some of the things happening today.
You know, the Supreme Court ruled this week that Texas can move forward with its redistricting plan that will add five seats to the Republican column. What do you think of that? Well, this is a big win not only for Republicans but for the nation at large. We have to be careful.
I’m glad you mentioned it, Michael. We have to be careful as a nation not to gerrymander the redistricting process. I know this firsthand, and maybe you do too.
When I was a county commissioner here in Escambia, Florida, every 10 years we went through a redistricting process. That meant we looked at the population maps and set the districts based on population— not based on registered voters, whether there were more Republicans or Democrats to tilt an area one way or the other. You shouldn’t do that. The term is coterminous.
(6:26 – 6:47)
We’ve used that term on the program before. It generally means, by law, one man, one vote. And it means that District 1 in your area should be equal in weight, proportion, and balance as District 2 and District 3 in your area. This is at the municipal level.
(6:47 – 7:40)
The same thing applies at the state level between representatives and senators, and with how congressional districts are set for the U.S. Congress. We must have parity and balance. And when these Democrats in California ran the table for decades with illegal, inappropriate, unequal, unfair redistricting maneuvers, it became crazy.
Then when Republicans tried to do the same— really just to bring some parity and balance to the process— they looked at it as an attack on what California had done. That’s what’s going on. And then it happened in Texas.
(7:41 – 8:28)
It ended up in the Supreme Court, and I think the Supreme Court ruled correctly that Texas has the authority to restore a sense of balance and parity between districts. Why not make every district based on equal population? Look at the total number of Republicans and Democrats, and keep that balance as equal as possible in every district created nationally, statewide, locally. And do that to make sure each person has an equal and fair vote like someone in Kansas, Connecticut, California.
(8:28 – 9:23)
You pick the state. It has to represent the same will of the people. Yes.
And you know, I’ve heard Democrats over the past 24 hours losing their minds over the Supreme Court accusing Texas. And it seems like the Democrats’ sanity is getting worse. And the funny thing everyone should know is they are the worst offenders of gerrymandering.
They gerrymandered the state of California. If you look at California, for example, about 40% of registered voters are Republicans and 60% are Democrats. But if you look at their representation in Congress, they only have about 10% Republican districts.
(9:24 – 9:41)
So basically, around 30% of the people who are Republicans are not getting fair representation because of how they gerrymandered the districts. And yet California and Gavin Newsom are screaming about what Texas is doing. Well, they already did it.
(9:42 – 10:05)
There are some states that… zero Republican representatives! Zero! Yes, Democrats are screaming as if Republicans threw the first punch. Folks, keep in mind this has been a long-term strategy by the Democratic Party for decades. And Michael laid it out again.
(10:05 – 10:10)
This is a problem, Michael. One man, one vote. The concept of coterminous.
(10:11 – 10:21)
You know what? I’ve come to a conclusion— and it’s in the Christmas spirit. Democrats are like Christmas tree lights. They all hang together…
(10:22 – 10:40)
Half of them don’t work, and the other half aren’t too bright. That’s funny! That’s funny! There are certain things in life that you start to get used to. But I’m watching Turning Point USA.
(10:41 – 11:14)
I’m watching the rise of Tom Homan’s initiatives nationwide. Keep your eye on Homeland Security head Kristi Noem, former governor of North Dakota. She has a plan in place to conduct an unprecedented review of these Somalis in Minnesota.
(11:15 – 12:10)
Not only in Minnesota, but in every state in the nation. There will be a major, legal, justified removal of various ethnic and political groups that came here illegally. Tim Walz, current governor of Minnesota, will be subject to an investigation. I wouldn’t be surprised if criminal charges emerge.
And my good friend—who is a sponsor of Gene Valentino’s Grassroots Truthcast— Mike Lindell, just announced he is filing paperwork to run for governor of Minnesota in the 2026 election. So less than 12 months away. This is a big deal.
(12:12 – 12:36)
A lot has happened legally. He took a stand on voting machines that turned out to be a problem in certain elections. And I believe the truth will set him free and he will become the next governor of the state of Minnesota.
(12:36 – 13:16)
I think there will be a massive nationwide removal, on several levels, targeted at the blue-state fraudsters, as well as Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and all these far-left extremists that even Nancy Pelosi couldn’t deal with. You’ll find them on the outside looking in within a year. If not for election integrity issues, there will be evidence showing the illegality of how they got into office in the first place.
(13:17 – 13:38)
Quick observation. Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, the squad of six or eight of them, AOC. How did these far-left extremists rise to such prominence so quickly? The answer is: follow the money.
(13:39 – 14:46)
Ah, you’re right. And you know, one of the things I’ve heard about the Somali community in Minnesota is that almost half of them apparently lied to get into the country. And so I think that’s what they’ll be looking at.
So even if they’re currently U.S. citizens— naturalized U.S. citizens— if they lied on their paperwork and it can be proven, they can be denaturalized. Yes. Ilhan Omar spoke about her husband, and it turns out it was her brother who became her “husband” to bring him into the United States as a legal resident— a legal resident who voted, by the way— and then catapulted her way into the U.S. Congress. To me: follow the money. And this issue in Minnesota, and the billions of dollars— they said a billion dollars, but reports indicate it could be much more— that funded the Somalis.
(14:47 – 15:28)
And as Donald Trump said the other day, Somalia isn’t even a country— it’s a bunch of lunatic warlords creating martial law and taking the law into their own hands. There’s no democracy there. And we’ve put millions of dollars into our country— and you can’t call Trump racist, because in the same week, the man is signing a peace agreement with Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo in the same African continent. So stop the nonsense of calling Trump racist. He has been fair and equitable.
(15:29 – 16:14)
Just because you don’t like the message doesn’t mean it’s wrong— it just means you don’t like the message. What did he do yesterday? He pardoned Henry Cuellar. We only have 20 seconds left, but what do you think about that? It shows he’s coming to the line, it shows he recognizes faults within the Republican Party as well. It shows he’s concerned about this nation— a man who didn’t need this job and could have lived the life of Riley— stepped up to protect you and me.
Going back to my final comment: failure to defend the rights of others may someday result in your own rights not being defended. That describes Donald Trump.
(16:14 – 16:25)
Yes, he knows what it’s like to be the target of an administration— he was one. So anyway, Gene, have a great weekend. Thanks for joining us. You too, guys. Take care now.
