[00:01]
Hi friends, Gene Valentino. This is an episode that we’re going to get into spirituality, the ministry, the word of
[00:10]
God on a global footprint. How is the word of the Lord getting out to the rest of the
[00:18]
world? The Christian ministry of God’s word getting out to the world. I mean, my dear friend Dr. James Kersner.
[00:27]
We’ve met at a conference a few times and he’s turned out to be a friend that has a very interesting mission. his company is called his company.
[00:39]
Listen to me. This is the entrepreneur and me. Hi doctor. First of all, welcome aboard.
[00:45]
Thank you, Gene. It’s a pleasure being here. Thank you.
[00:49]
Yeah. His company, if you will, is Global Assist. he doesn’t create a ministry. What
[00:58]
he’s doing is he’s propelling ministries around the world in becoming more
[01:05]
, 5 secondsintegrated synchronized and mission-oriented with a global purpose so to speak speaking all singing
[01:14]
, 14 secondsout of the same hymnal if that metaphor applies. doctor, I call
[01:22]
, 22 secondsyou doctor because you’ve had a life transformation. You were I have we first met, we were talking about eye
[01:31]
, 31 secondssurgery for my wife because you’re an ophthalmologist, right? Yeah. An optometrist. An optometrist. But here in Lincoln, Nebraska, that’s been my career.
[01:40]
, 40 secondsY and so you just made a pivot to the ministry of the Lord.
[01:49]
, 49 secondsokay. I think there’s a longer story here we need to ask 20 questions on in the time we have right after this.
[02:07]
, 7 secondsThis is Chris Ruddy and I love Gene Valentino’s Grassroots TruthCast. Make
[02:15]
, 15 secondssure you’re tuning in just like I do every day, every week. every minute.
[02:20]
, 20 secondsSome people watch [music] opportunities pass by. Others create them. This is for the entrepreneurs, the dealmakers, the
[02:30]
, 30 secondsrisk-takers, and the relentless few who refuse to settle for average. Corporate Menace Coffee Co. is built for early
[02:37]
, 37 secondsmornings, late nights, and the moments that define careers. Specialty Coffee, roasted to order for you, [music] the person with goals too big for excuses.
[02:47]
, 47 secondsWork harder. Think bigger. Corporate [music] menace coffee. What are you waiting for? Fuel up now.
[02:55]
, 55 seconds[music]
[02:56]
, 56 secondswww.corporatemenace.com.
[02:59]
, 59 secondsWelcome back. We’re with Dr. James Kersner who’s co-founder of Global
[03:06]
, 6 secondsAssist. He’s pre pushing a Christian ministry worldwide. Doctor, this is going to be your show. I’d like you to
[03:14]
, 14 secondsget the word out on what’s needed so desperately. I consider this when we spoke at recent events we’ve been at. I
[03:23]
, 23 secondsconsider this water in the desert. I think that your effort to get the ministry out in a way is much more
[03:32]
, 32 secondsthan missionary work. Would you make the distinction between what we’ve known historically as missionary work from Global Assist? Yes, I surely will.
[03:44]
, 44 secondsThanks, Gene. And I love being on your program here and thank you for having me and giving us this opportunity.
[03:49]
, 49 secondsSo, you know, I’m going to step back to what Jesus left us with when he left this earth and that is to go and make disciples of all nations. That was
[03:57]
, 57 secondshis command to us in the book of Matthew chapter 28. And that’s been our marching orders as Christian
[04:06]
, 6 secondsever since that time. And it’s gone through phases over those 2,000 years. and the body of Christ
[04:14]
, 14 secondsthe church has done a great job over all these millennia and but it’s gone through different phases and in the last
[04:22]
, 22 seconds300–400 years we’ve been in a model that was very effective and that is more the
[04:29]
, 29 secondswestern side of the world raising up missionaries to go in out into the world. It started in
[04:38]
, 38 secondsin in Europe and then it transferred over into America and the United States and the United States and
[04:46]
, 46 secondsEurope we’ve sent up missionaries around the world for years and years for centuries. and that was wonderfully
[04:53]
, 53 secondseffective and the word of God the good news of Jesus Christ went globally. but something happened Gene
[05:01]
, 1 secondin in about 50 years ago and very few of us even knew or understand this and I as I talk to people it’s
[05:08]
, 8 secondsit’s like a reckoning to understand that about 50 years ago the earth’s population just started to explode when
[05:17]
, 17 secondsI in 1970 there was 4 billion people on the planet. That’s a lot of people. It took from the time of Christ
[05:25]
, 25 secondsuntil 1970 to hit 4 billion. But in the last 50 years, we’ve doubled. In 50 years, we’ve gone to eight over 8
[05:34]
, 34 secondsbillion people on the planet. That’s an amazing expansion in 50-year time. The challenge with that in honoring the
[05:41]
, 41 secondsgreat commission is that there’s so many new people on the planet that the model that was in place and still is by most
[05:49]
, 49 secondsof us as Christians still consider the historic model of the missionaries it’s not adequate in and of itself to
[05:59]
, 59 secondsreach these three we estimate there’s 3.4 billion people on the planet that have never even heard the name of Jesus
[06:06]
, 6 secondsChrist. They don’t know. And how do you reach those according to the command that Christ gave us and we in our we in
[06:15]
, 15 secondsour human mind couldn’t even comprehend how to do it. God knew. God start started to raise up singularly call and
[06:23]
, 23 secondsraise up leaders in their own countries wherever they’re at where all these masses of people are at leaders to
[06:31]
, 31 secondscreate their own ministry their own teams to reach their own people groups.
[06:35]
, 35 secondsAnd that is what’s going on. In the last 25 years, Gene, there’s been, we estimate the best estimates is somewhere
[06:41]
, 41 secondsup towards 2,000 of these independent ministry leaders, founders that have in
[06:48]
, 48 secondstheir areas, independently of each other, have come into being and are now doing their work in their countries.
[06:56]
, 56 secondsThat’s an exciting paradigm shift for all of us in the 20 in a century.
[07:03]
, 3 secondsIt’s it’s a huge Yeah, we’ve seen so much political and social unrest on the non-spiritual, non-religious levels.
[07:12]
, 12 secondsUh and it only leads one to think what has transpired and why this void in spirituality.
[07:24]
, 24 secondsUh you your Global Assist group is geared toward it’s more of an eclectic group. It’s not that you’re espousing
[07:33]
, 33 secondsone faith in particular, but if I understood what I was reading correctly.
[07:39]
, 39 secondsYou’re more about marrying the faiths into a concerted effort of commonality. Am I near it?
[07:48]
, 48 secondsWell, you are. You are. And it is non-denominational.
[07:53]
, 53 secondsthe the leaders that God has raised up around the world in their countries by and large are independent,
[08:00]
non-denominational, the Bible and the Holy Spirit is their guide and they’re able to take the message of Christ the way it was
[08:08]
, 8 secondscommanded to their people. they are wonderful in what they’re doing, their vision for their region, their people groups, and around the world.
[08:17]
, 17 secondsThere’s still 7,000 people groups that don’t even know the name of Jesus. so yes, this is a Christian endeavor that we’re talking about and
[08:26]
, 26 secondstaking the gospel as Christ asked us to do. but these leaders are passionate and skilled and informed
[08:34]
, 34 secondsand biblical in what they’re doing. They have we see and what guys God has called us to do as Global Assistants. We see
[08:41]
, 41 secondsthat they have some lack of experience in certain areas and that is the structural what I’ll call the structural
[08:48]
, 48 secondsside of their ministries. They do not have very few have very any experience of what you and I would know in the in
[08:56]
, 56 secondsthe business sense of the world. u abilities of organizational structure of expansion. How do I grow my ministry?
[09:05]
, 5 secondsHow do I raise up new leaders and continue to expand that? How do I move across the region? I start out with five on my team and five years later I have
[09:14]
, 14 seconds50, 60. How do I handle that? they just don’t have how do I do some strategic planning to make sure that we’re walking down a path that God wants us to walk
[09:22]
, 22 secondsdown. you know, all these things. How do I handle my finances? That’s where they’re weak. And that’s what God’s called Global Assist. We come alongside
[09:31]
, 31 secondsand help strengthen them so they’re stronger as a ministry so that they can do their work they and their teams more
[09:38]
, 38 secondseffectively. So I and I have a thousand more questions, but I let’s get a plug out there for before we go any further. Give us how do we reach you?
[09:48]
, 48 secondsWhat’s your website? If they want to talk to you, they if they want to be leaders in your organization or get involved in some level, what’s the deal?
[09:59]
Our website is goglobalassist.org. It’s the words “Global Assist” with “go” at the front.
[10:06]
goglobalassist.org. That’s about as easy as it gets. If they want to email me, it’s just J…
[10:14]
[Email spelling unclear in source; contact Dr. James through the website.]
[10:21]
goglobalassist.org. Since you were an optometrist before this, the notes on the website show it started in 2003.
[10:31]
, 31 secondsWhat was the what converted you to what pivoted you from a career in
[10:41]
, 41 secondsoptometry and medicine to a career in faith and Christianity?
[10:47]
, 47 secondsWell, I was always a little bit of a hybrid anyway through my career. Right.
[10:51]
, 51 secondsIt was I God always gave me a spirit of entrepreneurship and so I was yes I was a practicing doctor had
[10:58]
, 58 secondsmultiple offices and practices and did that but I was always involved in some business endeavors and I just loved it and it was always just a spark in my
[11:07]
, 7 secondslife and I was blessed through all those years but we all get to an age where it’s time to I just knew that it
[11:15]
, 15 secondswas time to do something. So I retired from my career my work in 2018 and that’s when the work of Global
[11:24]
, 24 secondsCyst it just was laid on my heart that oh there’s something out there. You’re not just going to play golf every day of your life the rest of your life and
[11:32]
, 32 secondstravel which we enjoy doing my wife and I but there was a function that God had planned for
[11:39]
, 39 secondsme and this ministry as we went forward and that’s what started. So 2018 is when we when global just really
[11:47]
, 47 secondsgot its wheels running and we got a great direction from the Lord that during that time. So okay. So if the folks want to get
[11:54]
, 54 secondsinvolved, how do they do so and what are they in for once they’re involved?
[11:59]
, 59 secondsOh, there’s lots of ways we there’s this thing is taking such a an amazing
[12:05]
, 5 secondspathway. we are just now creating we’ve learned we’ve been working what we call partners in all these
[12:13]
, 13 secondscountries all these years we’ve been working with them one-on-one basically the team of leaders that we have and
[12:19]
, 19 secondsby the way our work is in those countries we don’t just do everything we’re very lean in the United States our
[12:28]
, 28 secondswork is with our leaders and teams and trainers in those countries so we’re on the ground with our partners and so we’ve We’ve been working with these
[12:36]
, 36 secondspartners one by one with a bunch of them over the years. Our partners are over 53 countries in the world.
[12:45]
, 45 secondsbut yet there’s still this mass of other independents that we haven’t even begun to reach. And so it’s been laid on my
[12:52]
, 52 secondsheart a couple years ago. How can we take what we know and the helps that we have and cast it across a bigger range?
[13:00]
And we are just now launching and creating what we call the Global Commission Network. And our intention is
[13:07]
, 7 secondsto create a global community of all these types of these ministries and bring them into a community because they’re all independents. Bring them
[13:15]
, 15 secondsinto a community where they can learn and grow and share with each other. We help facilitate the learning growing process so they all strengthen across
[13:24]
, 24 secondsthe globe in a community so to speak, a virtual community. We’ll bring them together once in a while in person, but
[13:32]
, 32 secondsmost time all this Gene, as you know, and what we’re doing here today 15 years ago been impossible without
[13:40]
, 40 secondstechnology, without Zoom. We can You’re sitting where you’re at. I’m where I’m at here in the heartland of Nebraska.
[13:47]
, 47 secondsAnd we couldn’t do this without technology. And that’s what is enabling us to do the global community.
[13:55]
, 55 secondsIt’s the first time anybody’s brought together these kinds of ministries under one tent into one glo where they can communicate and we’ll facilitate all that.
[14:03]
, 3 secondsYou just gave me an entree to something I was excited to talk to you about. You know the we talk about the past being a reflection of the present
[14:12]
, 12 secondsor the future to your point not necessarily. So the geometric growth in population alone
[14:21]
, 21 secondsin would you say the last 100 years to 8.5
[14:28]
, 28 secondsbillion people throughout the planet. and one of the things you said that stunned me was at least three billion of these people don’t know what Jesus Christ is.
[14:38]
, 38 secondsNever heard their name. I f I’m I’m I’m I shouldn’t be surprised, but I am that it’s that significant. And
[14:47]
, 47 secondsI see a big void. I see a big opportunity for Global Assist to step in or I should say reach out
[14:56]
, 56 secondswith its efforts to I don’t think you need to run their ministries, but I do see an amalgamation of bringing
[15:04]
, 4 secondsthem together into some sort of unified alliance of efforts. correct
[15:09]
, 9 secondsworldwide. we had USAID
[15:16]
, 16 secondssupposedly trying to through a 501 through a not-for-profit entity, an NGO
[15:23]
, 23 secondstrying to fund a ind interests like this worldwide. And what happened was it
[15:30]
, 30 secondswas fraud and the appearance of fraud if there wasn’t fraud and the misappropriation of funds that never
[15:38]
, 38 secondsreach the end user that you’re talking about. You’re you’re a lot your partner in the alliance and
[15:45]
, 45 secondsthat that to me is the big concern because well we always get to money, don’t we? I mean I guess you need
[15:52]
, 52 secondsfunding to run the shop and pay the light bill. Okay. So, we’ll talk a little bit about money, but that but
[15:59]
, 59 secondsthat but you’re doing more than just amalgamating faiths in ministries and giving them and propelling them. You’re
[16:08]
, 8 secondsum, you are actually helping them financially in third world nations.
[16:13]
, 13 secondsWe are we have a an area of funding that we do, but it’s very carefully done. it we know
[16:23]
, 23 secondsour partners very well. I think amongst the blessings of
[16:30]
, 30 secondsthe Christian community of the west over many decades over the last century there’s been many times where money
[16:38]
, 38 secondshas gone in a corrupted way to sources that nobody knows where the money went. And
[16:46]
, 46 secondsuh we are dedicated as Global Assist to ensuring that doesn’t happen. We know the partners. We know what they’re spending money on, what
[16:54]
, 54 secondstheir needs are, and we are on top of it. And we will can always be that way.
[16:59]
, 59 secondsSo www.globalassist.org, get on the site, subscribe, get
[17:09]
, 9 secondsinvolved, make a contribution if you can, and talk to Dr. Kersner here about what your role could be or should
[17:17]
, 17 secondsbe in the expansion and protection of the Christian ministry worldwide. How’s that for a pitch?
[17:24]
, 24 secondsOh, that’s wonderful. Thank you. Thank you. You know, I was going to say something. These ministries we’re talking about so that we help your
[17:31]
, 31 secondsaudience understand clearer these ministries that we’re referencing around the world. Yes, they’re independent.
[17:38]
, 38 secondsYes, they’re biblical. They’re they’re making their goal is to make disciples plant it’s house church movements everywhere on the planet
[17:46]
, 46 secondsexcept outside the United States. You go into these countries in Africa across South Asia or India and Nepal
[17:56]
, 56 secondsand Bangladesh. This is house church plants small group that multiply and move across regions. That’s how it
[18:03]
, 3 secondshappens. It’s just much like the first century when the Apostle Paul took the message to South Asia or Asia and
[18:13]
, 13 secondsand and it just grew organically. That’s what we’re seeing.
[18:19]
, 19 secondsBut I want your audience to understand that these ministries each one of them to be effective and appropriate in
[18:26]
, 26 secondstheir regions even amongst their own people groups they are also doing some amazing humanitarian
[18:33]
, 33 secondssocial cause things that with their own people groups almost every partner that we have and will have each one of them
[18:41]
, 41 secondsis doing you know they’re helping children that are in need they’re helping in the sex slave
[18:48]
, 48 secondstrafficking, trying to help there, doing things within their community.
[18:54]
, 54 secondsSo, it’s not just a singular flat, we’re just making disciples, we’re just being evangelists. No, they are
[19:04]
, 4 secondscreating a Christian world community by helping the people of their
[19:11]
, 11 secondsregions. And so it’s it’s fuller ministries than people would think. So, it would seem to me that your hands
[19:18]
, 18 secondswould be full just in the United States alone with nearly 20 million illegal
[19:27]
, 27 secondsaliens coming across the southern border and some of them are undocumented
[19:34]
, 34 secondschildren brought into sex trafficking and slave activity. The word is at
[19:40]
, 40 secondsleast 3 400,000 of these, I’ll call them children up to 18 years of age. And
[19:48]
, 48 secondsboy, I would say you’d have your hands full alone. Tom Homan over at ICE is working on initiatives behind
[19:56]
, 56 secondsthe scenes that is less obvious and probably just as well that involve a
[20:04]
, 4 secondsmission of going after the caretakers, if you will, or the custodians of
[20:11]
, 11 secondschildren under 18 that are undocumented, illegal immigrants. probably wonderful little children, but they’re
[20:19]
, 19 secondsstill illegal. and they’re in need of desperate care and their custodian guardian
[20:29]
, 29 secondsuh might need to be incarcerated for the abuse of that child.
[20:34]
, 34 secondsUm but how does a ministry like yours that’s so faith-based maybe jump into the fray there?
[20:45]
, 45 secondsWell, and you’re you’re exactly right.
[20:47]
, 47 secondsThat’s what’s happened in the US. Now you take that’s a microcosm of what we’re seeing. This problem is a global
[20:53]
, 53 secondsproblem with the children. It’s and I’m sure you’re aware of it. It’s horrible what goes on globally with kids
[21:01]
, 1 secondthat are stolen and taken from families or sold by their families for to just to make a living for the family.
[21:09]
, 9 secondsand so in all of these regions that we work in, all the countries, our partners are facing this all the time. And so,
[21:16]
, 16 secondsyes, they are doing work to reach out and to help rescue these kids. They’re
[21:24]
, 24 secondsworking in the prostitution rings. They are actively working. And so, we’re here to strengthen them so that they can do even more than what their capacity would be.
[21:35]
, 35 secondsWe’re we’re here to help build their capacities. And that’s just that’s globally as it would be here in the United States. So, there’s this is a
[21:44]
, 44 secondshuge problem globally. It’s it’s the it’s the sign of the brokenness of man.
[21:51]
, 51 secondsUh it sure is. Talk about your strategy and your so in the context of your mission. What’s target one, two, and three?
[22:00]
target one is to our ultimate goal is to what can we do to help strengthen and
[22:08]
, 8 secondstherefore catalyze or propel these ministries around the world. That’s number one. In doing that, how do we do that across the globe? Because it’s a
[22:16]
, 16 secondsit’s a big planet. That’s why we’re creating the Global Commission Network.
[22:20]
, 20 secondsIt will be a network or a community of these ministries to bring them together so they the leaders can talk and get to
[22:29]
, 29 secondsknow each other and we’ll put them in small groups virtually and facilitate communication and growth amongst them to strengthen all of them. So that’s that’s goal number two.
[22:40]
, 40 secondsGoal number three is to find the funding sources to help on we ask the partners to create projects of need that
[22:49]
, 49 secondsthey have whether it’s social humanitarian whether it’s operational to
[22:56]
, 56 secondshelp their ministries. We create projects so that these projects time bound can be funded. We look at
[23:06]
, 6 secondsUS-based churches to help join the ch join the challenge of funding these projects. Some of them may be exactly what you’re talking about. helping children that have been stolen.
[23:17]
, 17 secondsUh all these humanitarian needs, helping to these ministries to raise
[23:24]
, 24 secondsup and to engage more of their church planters, their disciple makers, all the things we help
[23:32]
, 32 secondsthe funding side of that as well. So, it’s that’s our one, two, three.
[23:37]
, 37 secondsI look at your website and the map is loaded with flashing dots and a lot of it’s in South Africa,
[23:46]
, 46 secondsuh southern Europe over towards Asia Minor and all the way down towards
[23:54]
, 54 secondsSingapore, Taiwan, Cambodia and the area. Boy, India as well. India as well. South India.
[24:02]
, 2 secondsIndia big time. Yeah. talk about the footprint and the number of people in your organization in these areas of the world.
[24:09]
, 9 secondsWe’re very scalable. So it takes for us to be able to deliver we can one of our leaders can handle oh up to 12 13
[24:19]
, 19 secondsof these what we would call partner and really work with them intimately so that we can scale and bring on more partners
[24:26]
, 26 secondsand it doesn’t take that much manpower for us to be able to do that. So, very scalable. but these partners
[24:34]
, 34 secondsthen, even the ones we have right now represent over 3,000 workers full-time that we’re not funding
[24:42]
, 42 secondsthe the full-time work. These ministries raise their funding for their own workers, for their own team members. U,
[24:49]
, 49 secondswe help in certain areas, but this is a very scalable. That’s why we know we can do the Global Commission Network and be
[24:56]
, 56 secondsable to scale that and to be a very effective with it and to create a global community. So it’s a different approach towards miss
[25:05]
, 5 secondsmissionary work and I love it. My concern would be, aren’t you exposing yourself to more of the hostage
[25:12]
, 12 secondstaking by these insurgents and radical groups in various third world areas that are
[25:20]
, 20 secondsuh poorly policed and less governed than here that we’re we’re used to. There’s so many people that might be taken hostage or
[25:28]
, 28 secondsbecoming slaves themselves. What say you about that? Yeah. Well, it’s very dangerous and especially in some of these countries you mentioned Asia Minor. We have
[25:37]
, 37 secondsa partner in the Middle East that his team and his workers are throughout the Middle East countries
[25:44]
, 44 secondsand we’re talking Iran and Iraq and those dangerous places. So they are exposed. There’s no two ways about it.
[25:51]
, 51 secondsThey have to operate underground. and but that’s what our partners all about that one there. in other
[25:58]
, 58 secondscountries it’s more open. there are some in South Asia India is becoming very difficult and so
[26:07]
, 7 secondsthere is u much persecution and yes our partners face that their ministries face that all the time. We as Global Assist
[26:15]
, 15 secondswe’re helping to strengthen them. We do it virtually by and large. we’re probably not as much at risk
[26:22]
, 22 secondsourselves but our partners certainly are. As they get stronger and they move and multiply that puts them at much more risk. But there that’s part of the
[26:31]
, 31 secondsChristian Christian drive is to even with the persecution they persist. In fact, they flourish under persecution.
[26:40]
, 40 secondsIt sounds harsh, but it’s a reality.
[26:44]
, 44 secondsYou know, it’s funny. go Yeah, go ahead.
[26:47]
, 47 secondsNo, I was just going to say the fast our understanding is the fastest growing Christian movement.
[26:56]
, 56 secondsIt was a couple year up until re recently is in Iran itself and Iran is where there’s so much
[27:04]
, 4 secondspersecution but that’s where the Christian message is getting out and is affecting people and I understand
[27:11]
, 11 secondsNorth Korea is in the same boat. It’s amazing to me where it’s the darkest and the hardest is where the word
[27:19]
, 19 secondsgoes out the most powerfully and people are willing and accept it. Yeah. And that’s what I wanted to touch with you is your missionary work. Are
[27:28]
, 28 secondsyou seeing a pattern specifically in militaristic jihadist movements where
[27:38]
, 38 secondsthere’s the mass of people under a socialism socialistic society but they’re run by a bunch of
[27:47]
, 47 secondsdictators and Marxists that is sort of like the separate state from the masses.
[27:54]
, 54 secondsYes. which on a different topic is probably why Donald Trump has had difficulty finishing the job in Iran
[28:02]
, 2 secondsbecause of the collateral damage these violent leaders would put their own people at risk
[28:11]
, 11 secondswhen we’re trying to take them out. the point I’m making here is do you see a pattern
[28:19]
, 19 secondsbetween the denial of Christianity and these
[28:25]
, 25 secondsmissionary movements in governing areas that are not as republic
[28:33]
, 33 secondsconstitutional republic democrat oriented as we are.
[28:37]
, 37 secondsYes, most definitely. that correlation is ever evident that where the persecution is the
[28:45]
, 45 secondsheaviest Yeah.
[28:47]
, 47 secondsthat’s where the movements are the strongest. Where the Oh, that’s my point.
[28:51]
, 51 secondsWhere the people’s need is the greatest, that’s where they’re they’re so open to
[28:58]
, 58 secondsthe good news and there’s nothing that dictatorial government can do to snuff that out. In fact, it proliferates.
[29:06]
, 6 secondsSo, one would say that the most difficult areas in your network are those on the team that have to hide
[29:14]
, 14 secondstheir true faith and ministry till after hours and pull their spiritual material
[29:21]
, 21 secondsout from under the carpet to read at nighttime at their nighttime blessings or readings or faith
[29:30]
, 30 secondspracticing. because if they’re caught during the day doing it, they might get killed. Oh, most definitely. Most definitely.
[29:38]
, 38 secondsAnd as you and I both know, that’s the highlighted scenario in Iran right now. No two ways about it.
[29:45]
, 45 secondsAnd are you must have minister or leaders in Iran is let’s focus on Iran since it’s in the it’s going to be in
[29:54]
, 54 secondsthe news again to a higher degree than it is already.
[29:59]
, 59 secondsuh talk to me about your leadership in Iran and what they’re braced for.
[30:04]
, 4 secondsYeah. Yeah. Yeah. Our again our partner in that area is training and has trained their people. They again
[30:12]
, 12 secondsit’s something that only they could do because that’s their world and they understand it. It’d be very hard for
[30:19]
, 19 secondsWesterners to try to come in and be effective. But they’re there. They can make things happen that we never
[30:27]
, 27 secondscould. that’s the beauty of this the this model but they are training their workers their
[30:36]
, 36 secondsleaders to how to function and how to lead these groups as you said so
[30:45]
, 45 secondscovertly underneath the just the blanket of
[30:52]
, 52 secondssecrecy. like you said, nighttime gathering together in small groups in a small home, shutting, make sure all the
[30:59]
, 59 secondswindows are, shades are down, no lights, you know, they can’t sing out loud. they can’t do that because if they’re
[31:07]
, 7 secondsfound, they’ll be executed. No two ways about it. We know what’s going on in Iran. And executions are a way of
[31:15]
, 15 secondsthese regimes are trying to manage and to manipulate their population
[31:21]
, 21 secondsbases by terror and it is effective but it doesn’t stop the movements. It’s amazing.
[31:30]
, 30 secondsDr. James Kersner with Glo Dr. James Kersner with Global Assist.
[31:36]
, 36 secondsUh he’s managing the paradigm shift we’re going through.
[31:42]
, 42 secondsuh with regard to Christianity and world missions, how he’s bringing them together worldwide. We start with a
[31:49]
, 49 secondsgovernance, but the governance base is often based on the internal morals and ethics and spiritual fiber that we’re
[31:58]
, 58 secondswe’re born imbued with. Christianity is one of the largest at least in the
[32:05]
, 5 secondsUnited States it’s not Muslim and regardless of what anyone thinks it is a
[32:12]
, 12 secondsChristian faith that started that was the underpinnings of a constitution that seems to have worked longer than any
[32:19]
, 19 secondsother governance in the world and that’s the American constitution the American government and it’s no small reason it’s
[32:28]
, 28 secondsbecause you and I have a say, not the big Joe up here who’s going to tell you the way it’s got to be. And so if your
[32:37]
, 37 secondsfaith that Dr. James Kersner is espousing to amalgamate and transcend into a new world order as the world gets
[32:46]
, 46 secondsbigger is stifled. We will have more conflict and more disruption because of
[32:53]
, 53 secondsthe lack of spirituality. Did I say it correctly? You did. That was beautiful. Absolutely.
[32:59]
, 59 secondsWell, I think you’ve been a great guest today and I’m trying to make sure I don’t miss anything. You brought up your three points. We talked about the
[33:08]
, 8 secondsit’s really a paradigm shift that’s occurred in the last 20 years in particular. But you know it coincides
[33:16]
, 16 secondsdoctor with what we see in the United States what post Vietnam post World War
[33:23]
, 23 secondsII for sure where we have witnessed a disruption from within the great conspirators of the world like
[33:33]
, 33 secondsa George Soros and we could name 20 others that have worked strategically behind the scenes to take down America
[33:42]
, 42 secondsthink they found the secret sauce. They thought the secret sauce was to disrupt and harm the American spirit from within.
[33:52]
, 52 secondsThey almost succeeded. I think the Gen Z crowd will make a decision this election. Let’s see how they vote
[34:01]
, 1 secondwith all of these with all of the cast of characters in these elections nationwide. What I’m trying to get to is
[34:09]
, 9 secondsthat Christianity and Judaism and some of the other faiths are coming
[34:18]
, 18 secondstogether in a more spirited way, an eclectic way. It’s not about fighting with the Jews about the difference
[34:26]
, 26 secondsbetween Christianity and Judaism, as an example.
[34:30]
, 30 secondsIt’s about what we have in common. And that spirit of camaraderie, that camaraderie of spirit
[34:36]
, 36 secondsis is what complements Global Assist your group since 2003 to have
[34:43]
, 43 secondsreally sprung into action to create even more momentum worldwide. And I hope and
[34:50]
, 50 secondspray that the younger generation in the United States that isn’t on the couch eating bonbons that is really doing
[34:59]
, 59 secondssomething about participating in this nation like the folks involved in Turning Point USA. I hope they step up
[35:07]
, 7 secondsand participate with your group in an outreach program. And folks, you need to get involved with Global Assist. They’re they’re all over the world. Talk to Dr.
[35:18]
, 18 secondsKersner and find out exactly what your role could be or should be in the in
[35:25]
, 25 secondsthe growth the perpetuation and growth of Global Assist worldwide because it’s spirituality that comes
[35:33]
, 33 secondsbefore governance and that’s what we’re that’s the foundation that’s the rock Dr. Kersner is building on doctor. Throw
[35:42]
, 42 secondsout your contact information again please.
[35:45]
Okay. It’s www.goglobalassist.org.
[35:55]
, 55 secondsand that’ll hit us and we’ll be able to respond back to you. Gene, thank you. I just want to say before we
[36:02]
, 2 secondsclose that I’m just hoping that what you just said rings true that we as Christians in this country understand
[36:11]
, 11 secondsthe significance of what’s going to happen next Tuesday and that we get off our couches and get out and vote. That’s
[36:19]
, 19 secondsour godly responsibility to be a participant in this democracy that we have and let’s vote and
[36:28]
, 28 secondsthings then things will be the way God intends them to be. So yes indeed this is I’m so glad you put
[36:37]
, 37 secondsit that way. I remember a saying it’s not specifically written in the Constitution, but someone who is a
[36:45]
, 45 secondsum a true believer in the American Constitution and a patriot was my grandfather, an Italian immigrant who came in legally.
[36:55]
, 55 secondsAnd he was a veteran in World War I. In fact, that’s his flag up there right up there on the
[37:02]
, 2 secondsmy bookshelf. There’s only 48 stars in that flag, doctor.
[37:07]
, 7 secondsThis was from before Hawaii and Alaska, but he said to me something I’ll never forget as a kid.
[37:16]
, 16 secondsFailure to defend the rights of other people may someday result in your rights not being defended. That’s right.
[37:23]
, 23 secondsUh I don’t think he was quoting anything specific from the scripture, but it I’m sure we could draw
[37:31]
, 31 secondsfrom the scripture to complement that point. And I think there’s plenty of people out there who need to
[37:38]
, 38 secondsunderstand that what Dr. Kersner just said was be proactive. Get out and vote.
[37:45]
, 45 secondsAnd before you rush to judgment on your vote, make sure you understand the principles that this nation was built
[37:53]
, 53 secondson, this nation was founded on, and your decision will come much easier.
[37:58]
, 58 secondsAmen. Dr. Kersner, thank you for your time today, sir.
[38:04]
, 4 secondsThank you, Gene. I really appreciate the opportunity and for having allowing me to be on this broadcast. Thank you so very much.
[38:11]
, 11 secondsYou’re very welcome. goglobalassist.org.
[38:16]
, 16 secondsLook for Dr. James Kersner. Find out what your role can be in the expansion, the merger, and the momentum that
[38:24]
, 24 secondsneeds to build worldwide with 3.5 billion people in our population of 8 billion people. 3.5 billion people. who still don’t know the name Jesus Christ.
[38:37]
, 37 secondsThank you for joining us today, doctor, and thank you everybody for another episode of Gene Valentino’s Grassroots
